Hospital Food Sucks

Let's face it - hospital food sucks. EXCEPT that one pitiful sandwich you get after you just birthed an entire human being. For some reason that chicken salad sandwich is the best thing I had ever had. A sad looking brown bag with a sandwich, a bag of Cape Cod potato chips and a chocolate chip cookie. 5/5 stars.

Once I was brough to the Postpartum Mother-Baby Unit, I quickly learned how crappy hospital food is. I had never stayed overnight in a hospital before. I mean, there is the stereotype of crap food is for a reason, and it was accurate. Coffee Central inside the Main Entrance of Mass General saved my husband and I after seeing the first meal that was delivered to our room.

Below you will find quick, easy, within walking distance places to grab a meal during your hospital stay.
